CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Morning Meditation & Empowerment Yoga:
Join us for an early morning (yes, early morning; as in before you go to work!) class to get you feeling amazing! A little meditation to get yourself centered, your chakras balanced, and a strong, empowering yoga class that will have you walking into work like you own the place!
Moon Meditation & Restorative Yoga:
The perfect class to take in the evening...which is why it will be offered in the evenings! You've been working all day. Your mind is going a million different directions. Join us for this class as we meditate to calm our bodies, settle our minds, and I take you through a restorative yoga practice that will have your body feeling renewed and ready for bed!
Core Strength Yoga:
One of my favorite classes to teach is Core Strength Yoga! Core strength is so important for our back health and there are so many fun ways to increase our core strength. Join us for a fun, challenging class that will keep you coming back for more!
Yoga & Meditation for Neck Pain, Headaches, & Migraines:
Being a migraine sufferer myself, this is a very important class for me. Join us to learn what you can be doing daily to reduce neck pain that almost always contributes to headaches and migraines.
Parent & Child Yoga:
Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, Sisters, Brothers...you get where I'm going! Adults who are home with the little ones during the day, come to the parent & child class. You'll be amazed how quickly they catch on and all the fantastic benefits yoga has for all of our bodies; big and small.
Mens Yoga:
This is it guys....this one is for YOU! A class only for men. If you've met me I've probably told you, "Everybody can do yoga!" So, no excuses. Come to class nervous. Come to class unsure. But, come to class with an open mind and be ready to be surprised by how amazing you are!
Womens Yoga:
I thought it was only fair to offer a ladies only class since the guys were getting their own class! Yoga a place of no judgment. We are where we are. It's a personal process. So, leave your worries at the door that someone will be stronger or more flexible than you. But, please bring your sense of humor with you!
Gentle Yoga:
This class is for anyone who wants to attend a class, but doesn't feel like they should or can really go full force that day. We move a little slower. We don't go quite as deep into poses. We DEFINITELY utilize props for support. We listen to our bodies (as we always should) and we are a bit gentler with ourselves.
Feet Up Yoga:
This is a SUPER fun class in which we use one prop in many different ways. Be ready to try new things. Be ready to shock yourself with what you are capable of. Be ready to sweat. And, as always, be ready to have a great time!
Fascia Release:
Our fascia is connective tissue that is one giant network throughout our entire body. That's one piece! So, when your fascia is tight or pulling in one place you are going to feel it in others. We will learn different ways to release the fascia in different areas in our body using different props.
Yoga for Dancers:
Where are my dancers? I grew up dancing competitively for 16 years. While dancing at the studio I competed with I also studied classical ballet at another studio. Yoga is a FANTASTIC for dancers! It goes beyond increasing your flexibility and helps build strength while maintaining proper alignment.
Yoga for Skiers/Snowboarders:
Skiers and snowboarders use the same muscle groups in the same way, over and over, during ski/snowboard season. You guys need yoga to compliment the work your muscles are already doing, but you need to make sure you're doing the right type of yoga. You don't want to build your muscles up, you want to work on lengthening them. Core strength and back health are also super important for all of you!
Yoga for Back Health:
I think pretty much every person on earth could take this class! Every once in a while look at how you are sitting. How is your posture?! How does your back feel when you wake up in the morning? How doesn't it feel at the end of the day? I've got simple things you can do daily to start making your back feel better.
Deep Stretch Yoga:
Please don't use the excuse of, "I'm not flexible enough to go to Deep Stretch." A deep stretch means something different for everyone. It is much better to practice yoga when you are inflexible than overly flexible. Deep Stretch is a class that will stretch every part of your body and it will feel oh so good!
